Buraczki w zalewie chrzanowej na zimę

Ingredients:

5 kg buraków

Zalewa:

1 litr wody

2 szklanki octu 6% lub 1,5 szklanki octu 10%

1 szklanka cukru

4 duże cebule

6 ząbków czosnku

kilka ziarenek pieprzu

kilka ziarenek ziela angielskiego

4 liście laurowe

5 łyżek tartego chrzanu ze słoika

garść soli

Prepare instructions:

1. Buraki ugotować w łupinach, wystudzić, obrać i zetrzeć na tarce o dużych oczkach.

2. Cebulę obrać i dowolnie pokroić. Zagotować razem wszystkie składniki zalewy. Przecedzić. Czystą zalewę wlać do buraków, a to co zostało z gotowania, czyli cebula, czosnek itd. wyrzucić.

3. Buraki w zalewie pozostawić na noc.

4. Następnego dnia nakładać buraki do słoików i pasteryzować minimum 15 minut od momentu zagotowania.
