Gulasz meksykański

Ingredients:

30 dag chudej wołowiny
30 dag chudej wieprzowiny,
10 dag bekonu lub wędzonej szynki,
3-4 ząbki czosnku,
3 cebule,
30 dag pomidorów,
2 strąki zielonej papryki,
po ½ szklanki białej i czerwonej fasoli,
1 szklanka bulionu,
1 łyżka suszonego oregano,
1/2 łyżeczki mielonego kminku,
2 łyżki smalcu,
2-3 ostre papryczki chili,
sól, pieprz cayenne

Prepare instructions:

Umytą fasolę zalać wrzącą wodą i zostawić na noc. Następnie odcedzić, zalać świeżą wodą, krótko obgotować i osączyć. Mięso pokrojone w kostkę przesmażyć na łyżce smalcu, dodać kminek, pokrojone chili, drobniutko posiekany czosnek. Skropić wodą i dusić pod przykryciem około 10 min. Włożyć fasolę, oregano i wlać bulion. Dusić około 40 min. Na pozostałym smalcu zeszklić posiekaną cebulę, dodać paprykę pokrojoną w paski i obrane pomidory, pokrojone na ćwiartki. Smażyć chwilę na dość silnym ogniu, po czym przełożyć do garnka z mięsem, dodać pokrojony w paseczki bekon, wymieszać i dusić razem jeszcze około 10 min. Podawać z bułką lub ryżem.
