Czerwona kapusta po poznańsku

Ingredients:

Mała główka czerwonej kapusty, 2 łyżki oliwy, 1 łyżka smalcu ze skwarkami, sól, pieprz, cukier, ocet (lub sok cytrynowy).

Prepare instructions:

Z kapusty wykroić głąb, główkę cienko poszatkować. Zalać w garnku wrzątkiem, zagotować, gotować 2 min, odlać wodę. Dodać oliwę, wsypać płaską łyżeczkę soli. Smażyć, często mieszając do osiągnięcia przez kapustę chrupkiej miękkości. Nie przerywając smażenia dodać smalec ze skwarkami, 2 łyżeczki cukru i łyżkę octu lub 2 łyżki soku cytrynowego. Mieszając odparować płyn na dość dużym ogniu (nie przypalając kapusty). Kapusta musi mieć wyraźny kwaśno słodki smak, w razie potrzeby doprawić cukrem lub octem, na koniec obficie popieprzyć. Podawać na gorąco. Jest to dodatek do wszelkich smażonych i pieczonych mięs, raczej bez sosu.

Kapusta jest na prawde rtewelacyjna bardzo mi smakowała. Zrobiłam ją do gulaszu i była równie smaczna jak i sama.
