Pieczone czerwone cebule

Ingredients:

Na 4 osoby

4 duze czerwone cebule
ok 5 galazek tymianku (ewentualnie moze byc suszony)
4 lyzeczki masla
sol, pieprz

dobrej jakosci ocet winny

Prepare instructions:

Potrawa moze byc serwowana jako efektowna przystawka (np z pieczywem), lub jako dodatek do dania glownego - szczegolnie pasuje do pieczonych mies.

Cebule obieramy z pierwszej warstwy. Odcinamy koncowke z korzonkami, aby mogla ,,stanac'' na blasze. Nacinamy na krzyz (nie dokonca!!!).
W szczeline wsypujemy sol, pieprz, wciskamy galazki tymianku oraz lyzeczke masla. Ukladamy na blasze (najlepiej na papierze do pieczenia) w pozycji stojacej. Wkladamy nagrzanego do 240stopC piekarnika. Pieczmy ok 30-40 min - cebule powinny sie pieknie otworzyc, a zewnetrzna warstawa powina byc delikatnie przypieczona.

Wylozone na talerz mozna skropic dobrym octem winnym (im gestszy tym lepszy).

Cebule sa bardzo efektowne i maja przepyszny slodkawy smak (traca calkowic swoja ostrosc)

I smakuja wysmienicie. Ja je podaje z pszennym pieczywem z patelni, delikatnie przyrumienionym na oliwie z oliwek.
