Jabłka do szarlotki

Ingredients:

jabłka
cukier
rodzynki
cynamon
cytryna

Prepare instructions:

Jabłka obieramy, usuwamy gniazda nasienne, ścieramy na tarce jarzynowej z grubymi oczkami (najlepiej robotem z odpowiednia tarką). Przekładamy do garnka, z cytryny wyciskamy sok i dodajemy do jabłek. Do jabłek dodajemy też 1 szklankę cukru i 1/2 szklanki wody. Całość zagotowujemy i gotujemy 10 minut. Dodajemy jeszcze tyle cukru, żeby jabłka były wystarczająco słodkie (trzeba spróbować), rodzynki i cynamon (ilość według gustu) i gotujemy jeszcze 5 minut. Przekładamy gotowe jabłka do słoików, zakręcamy i pasteryzujemy 30 minut. Możemy wykorzystać dowolne jabłka, nawet papierówki. Ilość użytego cukru zależy od tego, jak kwaśne są jabłka. Takie jabłka można wykorzystywać do ciast, naleśników a także jako samodzielny deser.

Mam pytanie, czy dużo soku jest w tych jabłkach tzn. czy trzeba je odcisnąć zanim wyłoży się na placek?

Ilość soku zależy od odmiany jabłek, z której zrobimy przetwory. Jeśli potrzeba to można je odcisnąć choć ja z tym radze sobie w ten sposób że dosypuję troche tartej bułki i dokladnie mieszam. Nie wpływa ona na smak jabłek a doskonale wchłania nadmiar soku.
